Tailevu Naitasiri has defeated Tavua FC by 2-0 in the opening match of 2024 FMF IDC Premier Division played at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

A goal in each half saw Tailevu Naitasiri grab all three points in the match.

Poor discipline from Tavua FC didn’t help their cause, with two players flashed the red card in the match, including goalkeeper Josaia Ratu.

In another Premier Division fixture, Nasinu FC and Bua FC player to a thrilling two-all.

Despite the cloudy weather conditions, football fans are slowly making their way to Churchill Park with exciting Super Premier matches lined-up for Day One.
