The Government has allocated $66 million in the 2024- 2025 Budget to support the provision of free education for early childhood care education, primary and secondary students.
This was announced by the Minister for Finance, Professor Biman Prasad while announcing the National Budget for 2024 to 2025 this morning in Parliament.
For the continuation of the transport assistance for about 90,000 students, Prof. Prasad said they have allocated $37 million in this Budget.
