Provisional results for the 2022 General Election are now closed as of 7am today.
Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem said the FEO would not be dispersing anymore provisional results for the 2022 General Election.
He said whatever was on the FEO results app was now the result that was provisional.
“We will now proceed to do data entry for the final result which will be available by Sunday and that shall be the final result or the election,” Mr Saneem said.
He said the team would now be doing data entry for the final result that was being done using a double blind data entry method.
“So this means that the result are entered into the system twice by two different people who don’t really know who saw the data first.”
