TABADAMU captain Terio Tamani led his gallant warriors to a battlefield semi-final against Police but went down fighting 14-12.

However, his goal of making the Olympics team is still his priority.

The Fiji 7s team playmaker has led his Tabadamu brothers to five Marist 7s tournaments and the Tabadamu sevens last week plus many more around the country.

Tamani said he acknowledged his brothers for the hard-fought battle and this was not the end of the road as many more tournaments and a comeback next year in their plan.

“Our goal in every tournament has always been to be gracious in defeat and humble in victory, and I thank all the hard work from the boys, officials especially to the fans,” he said.

“My priority remains despite being dropped from the national team and that is to try and secure a position in the team to the Olympics in Japan later in July.”
