BOTENAULU villager Kaveni Talaicacabe hopes the government that will come into power after next Wednesday’s polls will attend to their plea of a bridge to connect them to their village.

The 55-year-old farmer was among the many who voted at the pre-polling venue at Botenaulu Village in Naitasiri this morning.

Mr Talaicacabe said his forefathers had always pleaded for the construction of a bridge to ensure the safety of their children who wade across the Wainimala River every morning to attend school at Lutu District School.
