MIXED results were recorded on day one in rugby union at the Fiji Inter-Tertiary Competition that continues in Suva today.
In the senior 15s grade, FNU West went down to the FNU2 team 8-nil, USP Lautoka beat FNU Labasa 5-nil, FNU West edged APTC 12-5, while University of Fiji Lautoka and FNU Labasa played to an 8-all draw.
USP Labasa beat APTC 10-3 while USP Laucala won by default against USP Lautoka.
In the Under-20 grade, FNU West edged FNU 7-nil.
The pool matches continues today while the finals will be played on Saturday.
