2018 election: What will matter

GEOGRAPHY, ethnicity, gender, class and age will all influence the outcome of the 2018 General Election.

Highlighting this, University of the South Pacific academic in Governance and Developmental Studies Professor Vijay Naidu said while every single vote was important, the number of voters in an area was of even greater significance.

Fiji will be going to the polls on November 14.

Eight registered political parties are eligible to contest the coming polls.

They are the Social Democratic Liberal Party, National Federation Party, FijiFirst, People’s Democratic Party, Unity Fiji, HOPE, Fiji Labour Party and the Freedom Alliance Party.
