A 20-year-old man has been charged with the alleged murder of a 77-year-old man whose body was discovered at an apartment complex in Martintar, Nadi, last week.
Police said the incident was reported to the Nadi Police Station on July 27 after the elderly man was found lying motionless in his room.
Following investigations, officers arrested and charged the 20-year-old suspect with one count of murder.
The accused is expected to appear before the Nadi Magistrates Court today to answer the charge.
