As 19,007 Year 8 students across 717 examination centres began their external exams this morning, Minister for Education Hon. Aseri Radrodro has sent a message of support and encouragement.
“I want to wish you all the very best,” he said.
“As you start your day, put God first. Take a moment to pray, clear your mind, and walk into that exam room with confidence. You’ve worked hard, and you’re ready for this.”
He reminded students that the exams, while important, are only one chapter in their life journey.
“These exams do not define who you are or what you can become,” he said. “Do your best. Read each question carefully. Take your time.”
“Your teachers have guided you, your parents have supported you, and I want you to know that I believe in you.”
The Education Ministry, he said, is proud of the students and confident in their efforts.
“From all of us at the Ministry of Education, we wish every Year 8 student across Fiji the very best. Go in with faith, do your best, and leave the rest to God.”
The Year 8 external examinations will run throughout the week.
