A sum of $18.9 million of undeclared income was assessed by the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority (FIRCA) for the past three years through the whistle blower reports.
This was revealed by FIRCA acting CEO Visvanath Das during a press conference this afternoon.
He stated that $4.8 million was recovered in taxes.
Mr Das assures FIRCA’s whistle blowers absolute confidentiality in various matters.
