THE 2016 Starwood Golf Classic provides a $100,000 prizemoney for golfers to compete on at the renowned Denarau Golf & Racquet Club Course and Natadola Bay Championship Course tomorrow.
The classic which is dubbed as the biggest Pro-Am event in the country has attracted more than 200 professional and amateur golfers.
Denarau Golf & Racquet Club manager David Roche said all the 80 bunkers had been upgraded.
Roche said there would be consolation prizes worth more than $30,000 for the amateurs.
The competition will be played over 72 holes, with two rounds at Natadola Bay and two rounds at Denarau.
Sheraton and Westin Resorts Fiji managing director Shane Cunning said it was great to see the positive support from local and international golfers and sponsors alike.
“As a result, we are excited that the Starwood Golf Classic is going into its sixth successful year,” Cunning said.
