Vodafone Fiji has reassured the public that its new eTransport card system is supported by an extensive national top-up network, as concerns over accessibility continue to circulate.
In response to recent public feedbacks, Vodafone stated it has established more than 1000 top-up points across the country.
These include Vodafone outlets, Valuefone, Mr Mobile, Chicken Express, major supermarket chains, service stations, and numerous small community-based shops.
“All agents are fully equipped to top-up both old and new eTransport cards,” Vodafone stated.
“If a customer encounters an agent unable to process top-ups for new cards, we ask them to note the agent’s name and location and contact us so we can resolve the issue immediately.”
The company also highlighted alternative digital options, emphasising the seamless integration of M-PAiSA within the newly launched eTransport app.
“Once funds are transferred to M-PAiSA, they can be used to top-up the eTransport wallet instantly.
“Over 400,000 Fijians actively use M-PAiSA each month, and on average more than 100,000 customers transfer funds from BSP, Westpac, ANZ, BRED, HFC and Baroda Banks, or MyCash into their MPAISA wallets.”
