Medivisor Health reached a milestone achievement after they crossed the 1000-patient mark in Fiji.

The organisation which is involved in advising and assisting Fijian patients seeking medical treatment in India organised a Medivisor musical evening to commemorate the achievement.

Group director Kumar Sushant said the event was to give thanks to the people of Fiji. “Because 1000 is such a big number we thought of celebrating with the doctors both local and from India, stakeholders and patients,” he said.

“We’ve got four offices in Fiji and they are based in Suva, Nadi, Lautoka and Labasa. These four offices have been doing a very good job under the guidance and supervision of the local director Shalend Kumar.

“In India, we have got a team on ground to assist patients who have been travelling to us for treatment. We take care of everything, right from visas, tickets, travelling to hotels and hospital and pick up and drop offs.”

Mr Sushant said they were planning to expand their office to neighbouring Pacific Islands.

“In Fiji, we are thinking of setting up a diagnostic lab or dialysis unit and that is something we are exploring at the moment.

“We’re also thinking of bringing in a team of doctors to utilise the existing setup and to carry out surgeries in the near future.”
