The Accident and Compensation Commission paid $10.3 million to 382 applicants between January and September of this year.
Minister for Justice and Attorney-General Siromi Turaga told the House $3.4m was paid for deaths that occurred in accidents, with 46 applications processed.
The commission paid $7m to 336 applicants who were injured in a motor vehicle accidents.
The commission was established on January 1, 2018 and pays compensation for personal injuries and deaths from accidents to assist families remove costly legal battles.
