MISS Friendly North and Miss Charity 2025, Zeenia Mohammed has vowed to continue raising awareness on HIV in our country.

The young nurse continues the legacy of her sponsor — Labasa Divisional Hospital — winning the Miss Friendly North two years in a row.

Ms Mohammed said she would not have won the crown without the support of the hospital staff.

She also received the Miss Charity award after raising more than $34,000.

She said there was a need for ongoing education and support to combat HIV.

Miss Island Accommodation, Peggy Ravusiro, was first runner-up while Miss Civil Service, Zureen Zaahan, was named second runner-up.

Vodafone Fiji’s chief commercial officer Salman Khan reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the festival for the next two years.

“We are delighted to renew our sponsorship which shows our strong commitment to the people of the North,” he said.

Mr Khan said contestants used the platform to raise awareness on critical issues such as climate change, food security, gender equality, and mental health.
