Fijian sprinter Braelynn Yee has been awarded the 2025 Griffith Asia Business Internship.
The former Saint Joseph’s Secondary School student is a recipient of the Oceania Athletics and Academic Scholarship and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business at Griffith University, Gold Coast.
She earned this distinguished opportunity in recognition of her outstanding academic performance and commitment to excellence both on and off the field.
According to Athletics Fiji, Yee through this program will undertake a six-week internship in Seoul, South Korea, from November 3 to December 12, 2025.
She will remain enrolled full-time at Griffith University and receive the equivalent of full-time academic credit upon successful completion of the internship.
In addition to her academic commitments, Yee will continue to follow a structured athletics training program prepared by her coach.
This is to ensure she maintains her athletic development throughout her stay in Seoul.
Athletics Fiji said her achievements reflect the vision of the Oceania Athletics & Academics Scholarship which is to support young athletes in excelling academically and athletically.
