The Ministry of Education has confirmed that the Fiji Year 8 Examination (FY8E) Provisional Results for 2025 will be released tomorrow, 3 December 2025.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro said 18,628 of the 19,007 registered Year 8 students sat the national exam this year, achieving an overall 69% pass rate — the same result recorded in 2024.
“I wish to extend my heartfelt congratulations to all Year 8 students for their dedication, hard work and perseverance, given the numerous challenges that you must have faced throughout your academic journey,” Radrodro said.
He also acknowledged the crucial role played by educators and families.
“Heads of schools, school management, teachers, parents and guardians are commended for their professionalism, dedication and tireless effort. You are equally appreciated for the vital role you play in our students’ success.”
The Minister highlighted an improvement in the number of schools achieving perfect results.
105 primary schools attained a 100% pass rate this year, up from 87 schools in 2024.
