The Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE) recorded a pass rate of 74 per cent in 2025, according to the Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro.
The Minister confirmed that a total of 12,020 students sat the examination last year, with results reflecting a slight decline compared to 2024, when 12,868 students sat the FY12CE and achieved a pass rate of 76 per cent.
The Education Minister also acknowledged the support provided by heads of schools, teachers, parents, guardians and school management committees, noting their crucial role in guiding students through their academic journey.
Five secondary schools achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in the 2025 examination, an improvement from four schools in 2024. These schools are Nadarivatu High School, Levuka Public School, Rabi High School, Valebasoga Secondary School and Duavata Secondary School.
In addition, five government schools were commended for improving their overall pass rates: Levuka Public School, Queen Victoria School, Sila Central High School, Suva Grammar School and Nasinu Secondary School.
The provisional FY12CE results will be released tomorrow.
