Update: 10:19PM CONSTRUCTION of the Ba hospital will soon take place after the Ba Chamber of Commerce and the Government today signed a Memorandum of Agreement.
The MOA will allow Yanjian Group (Fiji) Company Limited to start construction work at the site.
The new hospital will cater for 64 beds and will have 7 doctors from the current three they have at the moment.
The hospital is expected to be of Australian and New Zealand standards.
The contract was given for $35 million to the contractors.
