Update: 4:10PM THE Fiji women’s karate team won the gold medal in the kata event at the 2015 Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea today.
And the
men’s karate team won the silver medal in the same event, in which the teams
display their skills.
Naomi
Bakani and Anthony Yam won silver medals in the women’s and men’s category
respectively for showcasing their individual skills.
The kumite
event, in which competitors will have body contact with their opponents, starts
later today.
