TISA Insurance (Fiji) Ltd, formerly known as Capital Insurance Ltd, is the latest corporate organisation to come on board to support the upcoming Women Invigorating the Nation (WIN) Convention 2026, an annual event organised by the Women Entrepreneurs Business Council (WEBC), one of the nine councils under the Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation (FCEF).

The company signed a Letter of Understanding with FCEF on Wednesday, confirming its role as strategic partner and platinum sponsor of the WIN Convention 2026, which will be held on March 27 to 28 at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

Speaking at the signing, TISA chief executive officer David Ariff Chan said the WIN Convention has become a powerful national platform that connects aspirations with opportunity and ideas with action.

“This year’s theme, ‘Give to Gain: Investing in Women, Transform our Future’ speaks to something deeply important for Fiji – socially, economically and nationally.

“At TISA Insurance, we see investing in women-led enterprises as the right thing to do.

“When women participate fully in the economy, businesses perform better, families are more secure and communities are stronger,” Mr Chan said.

WEBC chairwoman Jyoti Maharaj said the partnership with TISI Insurance reflected a shared belief in the value of investing in women and in strengthening Fiji’s economy.

“This MOU marks the beginning of a valued collaboration as we work together to deliver a Convention that shapes leaders, strengthens enterprises and drives sustainable, lasting progress,” she said.

In acknowledgement of TISI Insurance’s support, FCEF chief executive officer Edward Bernard said WIN was the largest professional and entrepreneurship event for women in the country.

“FCEF is very pleased to be an enabler for the WIN Convention.

“We are very happy to also partner with one of our councils, the WEBC, to be able to then delver another great WIN in 2026,” Mr Bernard said.
