Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found dead in her home in Nakasi.
The discovery was made after a report was first lodged at the Totogo Police Station, which was then relayed to the Nakasi Police Station.
Officers responded and found the motionless body of a woman in her bedroom.
Details are still sketchy at the moment as crime scene investigators conduct inquiries.
The identity of the deceased has not been officially released, and the cause of death is yet to be determined.
The Fiji Times has learnt the husband of the deceased, who works in law enforcement, is currently in hospital.
