A woman died following a motor vehicle accident yesterday evening at the Caubati Road junction.
Police say the victim was a passenger in a private vehicle and is alleged the vehicle she was traveling collided with a taxi which was heading towards Nausori.
“The 53-year-old victim passed away at the scene of the accident,” Police said.
“Both the drivers of the vehicle and three passengers were rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital Hospital where they remain admitted in critical condition.”
Investigations continue.
