A 44-year-old woman has died due to injuries she sustained after she was hit by a bus along Vunitogoloa, Kings Road in Rakiraki on December 15.
Anjila Chand of Vuinitogoloa was crossing the road near her house when she was hit by the bus.
She was admitted in hospital since then and passed away on Monday.
In a statement, Rakiraki based NGO, the Ra Naari Parishad of which Anjila Chand was a member said it was deeply saddened by the death.
She was described as a valued and respected part of the organization whose kindness and dedication will always be remembered.
Her funeral will be held on Friday.
