Information made available through the Fiji parliament shows seven MPs did not vote during the passing of the 2025-2026 budget.
The voting result data shows they were marked during the time of the vote.
The seven MPs are: Sanjay Kirpal, Premila Kumar, Shalen Kumar, Ketan Lal, Viliame Naupoto, Taito Rokomatu, Naisa Tuinaceva.
The 2025-2026 budget was passed with a majority of 36 votes to 12.
The 12 MPs who voted against the budget were : Praveeen Bala, Hem Chand, Semi Koroilavesau, Faiyaz Koya, Viren Lal, Alvick Maharaj, Joseph Nand, Vijay Nath, Viam Pillay, Inia Seruiratu, Rinesh Sharma and Jone Usamate
