A trough of low pressure lies slow moving to the to the west and gradually moving towards the group.
Associated cloud and showers is expected to affect parts of the group till later tomorrow.
Meanwhile, a moderate to fresh northerly wind flow prevails over the Fiji group.
Forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group: Cloudy periods with some showers over Yasawa and mamanuca group, Greater Ba area, northern Ba & Ra and the interior parts.
Showers easing later Saturday.
Elsewhere, cloudy periods with brief showers, increasing to some later tomorrow.
Isolated thunderstorms
Moderate to fresh northerly winds, becoming southeasterly later Saturday.
Moderate to rough seas.
Outlook for Sunday: Cloudy periods with some showers over Suva-Nasinu-Nausori area, Tailevu, Ra-Rakiraki area, Naitasiri, Cakaudrove and Macuata province.
Cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers elsewhere.
Moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.
Moderate to rough seas.
