FORMER Fiji Secondary School Rugby Deans champion Ratu Navula College and last year’s semi-finalist Cuvu College continued their impressive run in this year’s Western Zone competition.
Ratu Navula defeated Sigatoka Methodist High School 34-5, while Cuvu outclassed Natabua High School 23-10 at the Ratu Navula College ground this afternoon.
The wins have given the two sides a good chance of reaching the Western Zone semi-final with two rounds of games to be played.
The two teams have ruled the West competition in the past years and their wonderful performances this afternoon signals positive signs this year.
Meanwhile, in other games played this afternoon, Swami Vivekananda Under 15 defeated Votualevu College 21-10, while Ratu Navula Under 16 thumped Nadi Muslim 58-0.
Ratu Navula also hammered Nadi Muslim College 53-6 in the Under 17 grade.
