More than 500 primary school girls took part in the two-day Western Primary Schools Netball competition which was held at the Penang Sangam Primary School grounds.
The competition’s president Seruwaia Tagilolo said all the Western Division districts of Nadi, Lautoka, Nadroga, Yasawa, Tavua and Ra where participating.
“Their presence made this competition very successful and I would like to also acknowledge the parents of each student who trusted in the teacher’s and allowing their girls to come to this tournament here in Rakiraki,” she said.
Tagilolo added that tournament makes a return after a lapse of four years due to COVID-19.
