A WEAKENING trough of low pressure affects the northern part of the group till later today.
The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 10:45am today says the forecast to midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group the weatherman predicts some showers over eastern Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands and northern Lau group.
Showers gradually easing and clearing later today.
Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
For mariners expect moderate south to southeast winds accompanied by moderate seas.
