A trough of low pressure with associated cloud and showers remains slow moving just to the southeast of the group.

The weather bulletin issued from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi this morning says occasional showers and few thunderstorms are expected over Kadavu, Beqa and Vatulele, Moala and Southern Lau group.

Also expect cloudy periods with some showers and isolated thunderstorms over Northern and Central Lau group, Lomaiviti group, Cakaudrove province, greater Suva to Nausori area, Tailevu province, interior of Namosi and Naitasiri.

Elsewhere, fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.

Isolated heavy falls expected.

Moderate northeast to southeast winds with moderate seas.

The outlook for Thursday, expect some showers and isolated thunderstorms over Lau and Lomaiviti group, Cakaudrove province, Kadavu, greater Suva to Nausori area, Tailevu province, Interior of Namosi and Naitasiri.

Elsewhere, cloudy periods with isolated afternoon or evening showers and thunderstorms.
