Members of the public and motorists are being advised that over 20 roads and crossings are underwater in the Northern Division.

Commissioner Northern Uraia Rainima says no evacuation centres have been activated yet.

However, heavy rain fall continues to be experienced within the division.

The Fiji Meteorological Service Office in Nadi said a flood warning remains in force for the flood prone adjacent and down stream of major rivers of Vanua Levu.

The weather office says an active trough of low pressure with associated cloud and rain continues to affect the group.
