Rain water flooded the Khalsa Primary School compound which is located beside the Labasa River.
After close consultation with NDMO, the Ministry of Education wishes to inform the public that all schools in the North will be closed today until further notice.
Noadamu resident Elenoa Buadromo said the school was underwater at around 6am, this morning.
Ms Buadromo said they have moved and secured their belongings as the area is regarded as a flood high risk area.
She said they are praying for good weather.
