A heavy rain alert is now in force for whole of the Fiji Group.
According to the Fiji Meteorological Service, this is due to an extensive area of cloud and rain associated with a trough of low pressure that is expected to approach the group from the West tomorrow.
Fiji Met states occasional rain, heavy at times and few thunderstorms will start developing from tomorrow over most places.
Possible Impacts of this heavy rain includes flash flooding of low lying areas and some disruption to traffic flow and poor visibility land and sea.
