The Fiji Meteorological Service says the heaviest rain from an active trough of low pressure over Fiji is expected from this afternoon to tomorrow morning.
Rain is expected to pick up over the Central Division, including northern Viti Levu (Tavua-Rakiraki) tonight.
“The risk of flash floods increases over these areas,” the national weather forecasting centre advised.
“However, it is expected to gradually ease over the rest of the Western Division from tonight.
“Rain expected to ease and clear over Viti Levu tomorrow afternoon.”
Fiji Met says rain is expected to persist over Vanua Levu until later Wednesday.
