THE Ministry of Education has advised parents and guardians to monitor the weather forecast closely in the next few days.
The ministry has had reports of flooding in the Central Division and that some schools had sent students home early today to ensure their safety.
“Parents, guardians, and heads of school are advised to take all precautions in sending students to school,” the ministry stated via a Government statement issued tonight.
“Where there is any doubt, rather err on the side of caution and heads of school should remain vigilant and be on standby to assist students and parents.
“Where a school is closed, students should take the opportunity to continue their revision in preparation for exams.”
