Fiji Airways has confirmed that Flight FJ413 from Nadi to Auckland was cancelled yesterday due to adverse weather conditions associated with Tropical Cyclone Vaianu.

In a travel alert, the airline said the flights have since been rescheduled, with FJ413 now having departed at 5:00am today, while FJ412 will depart Auckland at 9:15am local time, headed for Nadi.

“Flights have been delayed due to adverse weather conditions,” Fiji Airways said.

The airline had earlier warned of potential disruptions due to poor weather conditions in Auckland over the weekend.

Fiji Airways said its team is contacting affected passengers directly and has urged travellers to check their flight status online and ensure their contact details are up to date.

The airline apologised for the inconvenience caused, thanking customers for their patience as operations return to normal.
