The World Boxing Foundation (WBF) has once again sanctioned the vacant WBF Asia-Pacific Cruiserweight Title Championship between the two ranked Fijian boxers, Savenaca “Ironman” Naliva and Sebastian ‘The Sniper’ Singh.
The duo will face off this Saturday, June 22, at Vodafone Arena under the banner of Bluewater Boxing Promotions.
Naliva has 24 professional fights under his name, with 16 wins, 11 by way of knock out, and a draw.
Singh has 24 professional fights under his name: 14 wins, 9 wins by way of KOs, and three draws.
Savenaca Naliva has once won this title at AD Patel grounds in Ba when he defeated Papua New Guinean boxer John Korake in 2020.
Other Fijians who formerly won WBF Australasian titles were James Singh, Jese Ravudi, Ronald Naidu, and Sebastian Singh.
In 2011, Joseph Kwadjo won against the late Joy Ali for the Vacant WBF- Intercontinental Super middle weight title. More WBF titles are in the lineup under the Bluewater Boxing Promotions this year.
Bluewater Boxing Promoter Samir Khan says this will be a golden opportunity for our local talents to shine on the ring and get an opportunity to write International Organization Titles to their names.
Simon Naushad, the WBF-appointed Asia Pacific Coordinator, will once again supervise the WBF Asia-Pacific Cruiserweight Title bout this Saturday.
