THE members of the national women’s football training squad have been advised to limit their festive celebrations ahead of the second camp in Suva next month.
The training camp will be held from January 12-23.
Fiji Football Association women’s development officer Charlene Lockington said a total of 35 players would be part of the camp.
Lockington said the squad would be reduced to 30 players at the end of the two weeks camp.
“The players are reminded to be within their limits during this festive period,” she said.
“They have to keep their fitness level up to the standard. A beep test will take place upon their arrival.
“We want the players to show commitment for their nation if they want to make the final 20-member squad to the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea.”
Fiji won the bronze medal during the 2007 South Pacific Games in Samoa and the 2011 Pacific Games in New Caledonia.
