The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) has advised members of the public to refrain from any unauthorised display of representation of the RFMF badge.
This stern warning comes in a statement by RFMF chief of staff Brigadier-General Sapenafa Motufaga.
It stated that any unauthorised use of the RFMF badge in the form of an ‘eight pointed star in gliding metal with the word Fiji below and a lion on the crown in a circle in the centre’ or any similar mark pertaining to the RFMF would constitute a violation of the RFMF Act 1949, Public Order Act 1969 and Crimes Act 2009.
Mr Motufaga said people found in breach shall render themselves liable to civil and criminal prosecution.
