Two youths who allegedly stole a vehicle from Waituri, Nausori at the weekend have been charged with theft and damaging property.
They will be appearing in the Nausori Magistrates Court today.
Police said the vehicle belonged to a 36-year-old resident who reported his car missing on Saturday morning.
The alleged incident occurred sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Police said the Eastern Division taskforce recovered the stolen vehicle near Korovou in Tailevu on Sunday morning.
The two accused persons also reside in Waituri.
The first accused – a 19-year-old teenager has been charged with one count of theft and one count of damaging property, and the 21-year-old second accused faces one count of theft.
