WAI TUI INTERNATIONAL 2026 | Taf’aga’s multi-talented crew gears up

AS Taf’aga Outrigger Canoe Club prepares for the Wai Tui Games in April, the club is celebrating members who excel in sport, study, and community life.

n Abraham Fong, a new dentist, medalled for Fiji at the Palau Mini Games.

n Caroline Acraman, studying Environmental Management at USP, brings years of competitive netball experience.

n Semisi Tupou, an engineering student at FNU, is a former basketballer who enjoys music and family time.

n Julian Acraman, at USP, has a swimming background and loves fishing and guitar.

n Emanuel Tupou, studying medicine at FNU, also comes from basketball and enjoys sketching.

n Martha Samuela, active in HEP youth work, medalled for Fiji at the Palau Mini Games. Mark Acraman, also at USP, is active in church and a Palau Mini Games medallist.

Younger members are equally driven. Ethel Acraman and Donella Kivi are focused on senior studies and church youth groups. Veikoso Tupou and Abdur Rehan balance sport and academics at Marist. Myriam Acraman, now at Grammar, graduated primary school with top FEYE marks. Quinton Fatiaki excels in sport, schoolwork, and art. Anna Morris, former Stella Maris Dux, plays volleyball, paints, and already places in the top three of Open Women’s paddling.

Taf’aga’s youngest paddlers: Loula, Isabella, Fatima, Tevita, Helava, Rodger, Stavros, Shiloh, Kalani, and Erynn — stay active through swimming, netball, play, and creative hobbies.

As Wai Tui approaches, Taf’aga remains focused on eort, teamwork, and representing their community with pride.
