“DESPITE the rain, we still came out to have a get together with our friends and family.”
These were the words of Mere Rokotuni who came out to My Suva Park with her family and workmates to enjoy Fiji Day.
Mrs Rokotuni said it was a last minute plan among the Water Authority Call Centre staff to have a BBQ today with those that were on day off.
She said the team had been at My Suva Park since 6am, in the rain, preparing the BBQ.
The mother of three shared that the rain did not take away the excitement of the day, which they enjoyed with each other.
Mrs Rokotuni encouraged families to come out, enjoy the day and embrace the cool weather.
