Vugakoto inks deal

FRESH from the Rugby World Cup, Ratu Veremalua Vugakoto has secured a deal with the Utah Warriors Rugby team.

The US-based club announced his inclusion as a hooker after coming off his debut for the Flying Fijians in the 2019 Rugby World Cup.

The Daviqele, Kadavu native made his international debut leading the Fiji under-20 team in 2017.

He was part of the Fiji Warriors team and the successful 2018 Fijian Drua team.

Vugakoto also played for the newly established Fijian Latui team earlier this year and is part of the Suva team.

The 21-year-old was also the youngest player in the 2019 Rugby World Cup Flying Fijians squad and is in London for the Flying Fijians match against the Barbarians that was to be played early this morning.
