Police have confirmed an arrest of two men which was filmed and went viral on social media last night were that of a 26 and a 29-year-old man of Mead Road Housing, Nabua.
They were arrested for unlawful possession of illicit drugs and resisting arrest.
The video on social media shows residents in the area shouting at the Police when the two men were being arrested.
Fiji Police said the Southern Division Police team conducted the raid and the two had thrown a bag towards the nearby bushes.
The Police team found a black sling bag that had 3 zip lock containing white crystal substances believed to be methamphetamine and assorted cash in 50s,20s,10s, and 5s Fijian currency totalling to $5560.
Cash is believed to be proceeds of crime from the sale of illicit drugs.
Police said the items were seized, and the two were arrested as the investigation is underway.
