MISS Unique Sound Vanshika Isha Nadan was crowned the 2019 Fiji Airways Nadi Farmers Carnival over the weekend.
The Year 12 Natabua High School student was emotional after her win at Koroivolu Park last Saturday night. She said she was surprised with the win.
“In the beginning I wasn’t really expecting to take part but when I got to know that the Farmers Carnival is a charity event I was on board.
“All of the money raised in this carnival will go towards charity to the families of farmers and their families.”
Other winners include First runner up Ritie Floella Sumaafu (Miss Mauri Creative Arts and Entertainment), Second runner up – Shivyanka Sharma (Miss Max Marketing), Miss Charity – Sandhika Singh (Miss Singapore Foreign Exchange), First runner up – Lanieta Lawedrau (Miss Ho Brothers PTE Ltd), Second runner up –Aviame Nabeqa (Miss Hasmat Investment); Miss Personality – Lavenia Lawedrau (Miss Ho Brothers)
