JUICE sellers in Sigatoka Town now have proper facilities from where to sell their pastries, juice and food parcels.
Sigatoka Market Vendors Association president Krishna Sharma, told this newspaper, the town council had provided a new set of tables and sink for them.
“So, they can just stand from behind their table and sell their roti parcels and juice,” he said.
Mr Sharma said the council was in the process of repainting the interior of the town market.
Meanwhile, juice seller Etuate Nauro commended the council for assisting them with the new tables.
“The table has its own sink and tap which is very efficient for us. We do not have to walk to the other side of the market to get water,” he said.
“It’s easy for us to just open the tap and mix the ingredients for the juice inside our plastic basins.”
