TWO students aged 14 and 20 are believed to be the country’s latest drowning fatalities.
According to a statement by Police, the victims from Waiqaliqali in Sigatoka were bathing their horses in the Semo River when they disappeared after 2pm yesterday.
Police added a search was conducted last night and the bodies of the victims were recovered before midnight.
A post mortem will be conducted to ascertain the cause of deaths.
The drowning death toll stands at 24 compared to 28 for the same period last year
