Two separate house fires were reported in Nadi on Boxing Day.
The first incident occurred shortly after 8.30am at Carreras, Votualevu, where a three-bedroom concrete home was found fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived.
The house was completely destroyed, with damage estimated at around $80,000.
No injuries were reported, and fire investigators are working to determine the cause.
The second fire was reported around 10:00pm at Nawejikuma, Nawaka.
A two-bedroom house was already ablaze when the responding team arrived minutes later.
The property, which was vacant at the time, had about 95 per cent damage, with losses valued at approximately $12,000.
Authorities are reminding families to remain vigilant with fire safety during the festive period, as investigations into both incidents continue.
