Update: 5:06PM FIJI weightlifting’s golden boy Manueli Tulo scooped a gold medal in the 2016 Australian Open in the weekend.
In a media release, Weightlifting Fiji secretary Chris Yee said Tulo won gold in the 56kg category.
“Manueli Tulo lifted 108kg in the snatch and 134kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 242kg which won him a gold medal for Fiji,” Yee said.
WF will be hosting the 2016 National Championships on Saturday at the National Fitness Centre.
