Former MP and Tui Namuka, Ratu Tevita Niumataiwalu, has passed away.
The Macuata Provincial Council confirmed to this newspaper that Ratu Tevita died at Labasa Hospital on Monday.
He will be laid to rest next week Thursday in Namuka.
Ratu Tevita was a member of SODELPA and entered Parliament in April 2018 as a replacement for MP Mosese Bulitavu who was convicted of sedition and lost his seat.
